UCC has commissioned a multi-movement work from Tucson-based composer\, Joshua Keeling. This work for mixed-voice and percussion ensemble shares the personal stories of mine workers in search of hidden treasures. University Singers will present music connected to gems and minerals commonly found in Arizona: wulfenite\, silver\, malachite\, gold\, and turquoise. Speakers from the museum will share facts\, stories\, and beautiful photos throughout the concert.
